Last week, TeamFranken suited up, pointed the hybrid in a northerly direction, and made its way to Duluth. One overflowing house party at the (lovely) Frederick home, one dinner at Pickwick’s (deep-fried cheeseburgers!), and one UMD meet-and-greet later, we crashed at the Holiday Inn on First Street.

The next day was one of Al’s very favorite holidays – Law Day! Go ahead, ask him for the history lesson. He’ll be more than happy to oblige. This year’s theme was Empowering Youth, Ensuring Democracy, and Al had a thing or two to say on the subject. You can check out the video of the speech here.
