Al 2008 Decal

Contribute at the $20.08 level and above
and receive this limited edition decal!

By popular demand, we’re introducing a new way to support Al’s campaign for change. Actually, it’s a new way to support Al’s campaign WITH change - with just a few dollars every month.

We’re calling it the “People Who Give Us A Small Amount Of Money On A Regular Basis” program, or at least that’s what we’re calling it for now. (If you have a better idea, please, please, please let us know).

Here’s how it works. You pick a level of support you can afford each month. Maybe you can spare $50 every month - that’s less than two dollars a day. Maybe it’s $25 - that’s like putting your pocket change at the end of the day in a jar marked “TAKING BACK OUR COUNTRY.” Or maybe you could just skip two cups of coffee a month and commit to five bucks.

Whatever it is, when you sign up, it lets us know that we’ll be able to count on you all the way through the election. So click here to sign up at whatever level of support you can afford - your pocket change can help Al bring about real change in Washington.

Oh, and if you can join the program with at least $20.08 a month - less than a dollar a day - we’ve got a special gift for you that’s not available anywhere else. Click here to see it.

Posted in News Clips, Take Action on September 8th, 2007

Al’s been heading down to the picket lines and rallies to support the University of Minnesota workers striking for a living wage. He’s a member of four unions himself, and he takes the issue very seriously. On Monday, he caught up with the university’s paper, the Minnesota Daily.

Franken said higher education has been a concern of his before the strike, and it would continue to be after the dispute is resolved.

He expressed a concern that the University is moving backward.
